They spend a lot of time thinking about this, is what I'm trying to say. They have also dedicated themselves to as green a lifstyle as they can manage within the framework of surviving capitalism as a single person in a developed nation. They bike to work, have been experimenting with individual-scale solar and hydroponics and zero-waste practices. They have been vegetarian for over a decade and wrote a zine about it.
